Contrathèque | Contract for the provision of services

Would you like to use a service provider? Discover our contract software and the model of service provision contract automated by Legal Pilot!

What is a service contract?

The contract for the provision of services  is one of the most common contracts in business life.

The contract for the provision of services differs from the contract of employment in that the service provider is not subject to a subordinate relationship.

This type of contract is also different from a sales contract. Whereas a contract of sale involves the sale of a product, a contract for the provision of services involves the performance of a service by a service provider.

What is at stake in the service provision contract?

The drafting of a contract for the provision of services is extremely beneficial for both the service provider and the service recipient.

For the service provider, it is a question of having a written document that makes it possible to define his field of intervention and to specify the tasks that he will have to perform, if he is not under any kind of subordinate relationship.

For the beneficiary, it will be a matter of specifying his or her needs by drawing up a set of specifications.

Do you want to know if your company is concerned by the RGPD? Discover our contrathèque software and the RGPD model automated by Legal Pilot! What is the RGPD ? The general regulation of data protection (or RGPD) results from a regulation of the European Union adopted by the Parliament and the Council of the European Union. In France, the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) is responsible for ensuring that the RGPD is properly applied by companies affected by the regulation. The RGPD also includes recognition of the right to be forgotten, so that personal data can be withdrawn or deleted in the event of a breach of privacy; the right to data portability, so that users can move from one social network, ISP or streaming site to another without losing their information; and the right to be informed in the event of data hacking.
