What is the RGPD?<\/h2>

The General Data Protection Regulation\u00a0<\/b> (or RGPD) is a European Union regulation adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. This regulation deals with issues relating to personal data. Applicable since 25 May 2018 throughout Europe, it reinforces and completes the principles established by the 1978 Data Protection Act. In France, the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libert\u00e9s) is in charge of ensuring the proper application of the RGPD by the companies concerned by the regulation. As soon as a company collects personal data, the CNIL monitors compliance with the data protection rules.<\/p>
