In 2014, associates represented 30% of the total number of lawyers.<\/div><div><h5>The method of remuneration for self-employed lawyers :<\/h5><p>A <b>associate lawyer<\/b> is subject to the self-employed persons' regime: he pays his social security contributions and is subject to the tax regime for non-commercial profits (BNC).
